23 Things #4 ... & Supermodel 2.0

Register your blog on PLCMC Central and begin your Learning 2.0 journey. Will I? Maybe after September 17.

Just when I began to wonder whether to blog, or save, or note or otherwise the long list of PLCMC Participant Blogs, I surfed past Supermodel 2.0 so now I'm learning about Evidence Based Library & Information Practice, instead of completing assignments.

  1. I have started the 23 things. I am now doing thing 4 which is to register my blog. I really at this stage of my learning do not have enough information about blogs to register. By this I mean, where will I register my blog and for what reason.I am not doing CULLB602C because I have finished this unit. It was not presented in this way and I believe the context in which you are learning about information literacy is more relevant for library professionals. I am fortunate to have a work colleague who is highly skilled in this area, and challenged and encouraged me to do this. She is my mentor so I have decided to register at her blog.

  2. Hi Haze

Bravo, you're doing so well :D

Until I come up with a way to set up a similar program of my own, for anyone doing the 23 Things these days: I think we need to reinterpret "Registering" as telling others online that you're doing the 23 Things.

Some different ways to do this might be to:
    - just like Haze did in that comment, find someone else who has done the program and leave a comment at their blog.
    - create your own list of things like Helene's with the 43 Things site.
    - email your friends
    - message your facebook friends.

ABOUT COMMENTING HERE:
1. You can use some HTML tags, such as <b>, <i>, <a>

2. Apparently blogspot requires that we allow third party cookies for the darn feature to work. Sorry, nothing I can do about it - Google will lead you to instructions.

3. I don't generally post on contentious issues so I don't expect problems.
However, I will delete comments I consider:
disrespectful, destructive, irrelevant or SPAM, (even sucking up: praising my post without reason while linking to a business site).
